The story centers on two contrasting characters, Rhoma and Ricky, who differ not only in their musical preferences but also in their lifestyles. Rhoma promotes Dangdut music and embraces a religious life, while Ricky is drawn to rock music and a more reckless existence. This clash of values escalates as Ricky, a talented boxer, joins the rock group Apache and becomes frustrated with Rhoma's success in Jakarta.

As tensions rise, Ani, a singer from Apache, finds herself disillusioned with Ricky's lifestyle and grows closer to Rhoma, leading to their engagement. The conflict intensifies when Rhoma is brutally attacked, resulting in a journey of healing and martial arts training in a secluded village. Upon returning, he confronts Ricky, culminating in a dramatic final battle that tests their resolve and strength.
