Das Stacheltier - Das Wartehäuschen

The story centers on commuters who have been waiting for a promised bus shelter for 25 weeks. VEB engineer Schulz represents their frustration, trying to push through the bureaucratic delays caused by Engerling, an indifferent bureaucrat. When the residents take matters into their own hands to build the shelter, they finally receive the permit they need, only for Engerling to claim the credit at the official unveiling.

With its setting in post-war Germany, this film captures the spirit of the time, showcasing the challenges faced by ordinary citizens and the often slow-moving nature of bureaucracy. The performances by a talented cast, including Wilhelm Koch-Hooge and Hans Wehrl, contribute to its engaging narrative and character-driven story.
