Date Wine

Set in a mythical Upper-Egyptian village, Date Wine tells the story of a stranger who entices the local men with promises of job opportunities abroad. As the men leave, trouble brews in the village, leaving only a disabled grandfather and his grandson Ahmed to face the consequences. The absence of men disrupts the village's harmony, leading to a deep exploration of desire and patriarchal structures.
