Days of Harvest

The story centers on Elia, a teenager working on his parent's grape farm. His summer takes a turn when Emilia arrives to assist with the harvest, stirring feelings of loneliness and desire in Elia. The film captures the dynamics of their relationship as he shares his experiences and struggles with her.

Elia's family is marked by contrasting beliefs, with his father, Claudio, being a staunch Communist whose life is disrupted by significant political events. Meanwhile, Maddalena, Elia's mother, remains steadfast in her Catholic faith and continues her prayer meetings. This backdrop adds depth to Elia's journey as he navigates the complexities of adolescence.
