Dead Rush has this gritty, almost raw feel to it. Shot from the POV of a young guy, you really get immersed in the chaos of a zombie outbreak. The pacing is relentless—there's hardly a moment to breathe as he and his friends try to navigate through relentless hordes of the undead. The practical effects are pretty decent for a lower-budget flick; they really bring the horror to life, if you know what I mean. You can feel the tension, and the performances, while not Oscar-worthy, do a good job of conveying panic and desperation. It’s a distinctive take on the zombie genre, giving you a more personal perspective on survival amidst all the carnage.
Shot entirely in POV perspective · Focuses on friendship amidst horror · Strong practical effects for its budget
