Dear Orange

The story follows Mei, a woman who faces numerous setbacks, including a failed marriage and raising her mentally disabled son, Diku, while caring for her mother with dementia. After a chance encounter with her ex-husband, Zhi-yuan, Mei's life takes a turn as his glove puppetry helps salvage her show, bringing a glimmer of hope.

However, the success is short-lived as rivalries emerge, leading to the show's cancellation. The tragic death of Zhi-yuan plunges Mei into despair, prompting her to contemplate ending her life. In a moment of clarity by the sea, she discovers the true meaning of happiness and rushes home to avert impending tragedy. This film captures the emotional rollercoaster of its protagonist, making it a poignant narrative for viewers.
