Debu Revolusi

The film follows Arman, who suffers a serious injury in a military clash during Indonesia's fight for independence. After gaining sovereignty in 1950, he returns to Jakarta, where he becomes entangled in the fast-paced urban lifestyle. His relationships evolve as he marries Martini, a modern woman, but his past continues to haunt him.

When Srihati, the village head's daughter who once cared for him, comes to the city in search of Arman, she faces disappointment. As Arman grapples with issues like gambling and embezzlement, he finds himself imprisoned. Upon completing his sentence, he seeks out Srihati, only to discover that she has moved on with Kasim. The narrative encapsulates the themes of lost opportunities and the consequences of choices made in a rapidly changing society.
