Demon Keeper is one of those obscure gems that kind of slips under the radar. It has this low-budget charm, with practical effects that harken back to a different era of horror. The pacing is a bit uneven, but there's a raw energy to it that makes up for some of its shortcomings. The performances, while not always the strongest, have a certain earnestness that draws you in. You can tell they were going for a blend of dark comedy and horror, and while it doesn’t always hit the mark, it creates a unique atmosphere. It's not something you see every day, which can make it feel refreshing amidst more polished fare. Definitely one for the curious collector.
