Der doppelte Nötzli

The film follows Josef Nötzli, who leaves his accounting job to run a chicken farm in Switzerland. His life takes an unexpected turn when he learns that his twin brother John, whom he believes to be a successful hotelier in Berlin, is actually a notorious underworld boss. After John's death in Bangkok, Max, his partner, seeks to conceal the truth and ropes Josef into a web of deception.

In Berlin, Josef is mistaken for John, which leads to a series of comedic misunderstandings and complications. The film showcases the contrast between Josef's mundane life and the dangerous world of organized crime that he becomes inadvertently involved in.
