Der Handymörder

The film follows former GDR secret service agent Wolfgang Dreher, who, after being sentenced to life imprisonment, makes chilling threats about waking up sleeper agents if his sentence isn't overturned. The tension escalates as agent Nicola Helling of the Federal Criminal Police Office attempts to thwart an assassination attempt on the Federal Prosecutor General.

As the plot unfolds, Helling leads a task force searching for Dreher's sleeper agents, one of whom might be hiding within the ranks of the police.
