Der Stich des Skorpion

The film follows Wolfgang Stein, who spends years in Bautzen prison due to his escape attempt from East Germany. After being ransomed by the West German government in 1971, he finds himself in a reception camp where he falls in love with a nurse named Anne. Their relationship leads to marriage and the arrival of a child, but the past catches up with Wolfgang when an old friend seeks his help for an escape plan.
