Deserto

Deserto follows a small group of artists as they journey through the Brazilian backlands to present a show. Their arrival at an abandoned city, complete with houses, a church, and a fountain, sets the stage for a transformative experience. Tired of their lives as wanderers, they choose to create a new community, each taking on different roles from those they have previously played.

As they attempt to build a new life, the artists confront the darker aspects of civilian life, revealing the vices that come with their new existence. This contrast between their artistic aspirations and the harsh realities of community living forms the crux of the film.
