His relationship with Gauri, his wife, adds a nice emotional layer, while his brother and sister-in-law bring family dynamics into play. The practical effects during the action scenes are pretty decent for its time, and you can see a genuine attempt to highlight the moral dilemmas faced by those in power. It’s not your typical formulaic fare; there’s a certain rawness to it that stands out.
