Dhiaab ealaa altariq

The film follows Salem, an assistant director who believes he is loved by the famous actress Nagwa. In a misguided attempt to win her affection, he steals a large sum of money from his studio. After confessing both his love and his crime to Nagwa, he overhears her discussing his theft with the producer, prompting him to flee to Alexandria.

In Alexandria, Salem seeks refuge with friends who are more interested in the stolen money than in helping him. This leads to a tragic confrontation resulting in a fatal fight. The film explores themes of desperation and consequence, making it a compelling narrative of its time.
