Die Amitié

The film follows Agnieszka, a Polish carer for an elderly man, and Dieudonné, a harvest helper from the Ivory Coast. Their lives intersect on a bus to Lübeck as they navigate personal struggles and societal challenges. Through their experiences, the film delves into the exploitative nature of modern agriculture and introduces a mysterious network called Amitié, driven by artificial intelligence and virtual reality.

As Agnieszka develops a bond with Siegfried, the elderly gentleman, she faces the complexities of his relationship with his son Carsten. Meanwhile, Dieudonné encounters the challenges of his work environment and the scrutiny of a police officer suspicious of the Amitié network.
