Die Oma ist tot

The story follows Grandma Vera as she travels from Poland to Germany to celebrate her birthday with her family. The gathering includes her granddaughter Linda, son-in-law Lothar, and their children, who are joined by Lothar's strict parents for a lively evening together.

However, the mood shifts dramatically when Grandma Vera unexpectedly passes away the next morning. Faced with financial constraints that prevent a proper funeral, the family decides to transport her body back to her hometown of Kovalov themselves. This leads to a series of comedic and touching moments as they navigate the challenges of their decision while grappling with their loss.
