Ding Dong is this quirky blend of comedy and drama set around a wedding that’s about to go hilariously off the rails. The vicar, though eccentric and perhaps a bit scatterbrained, lands himself in a tight spot as he tries to keep everything running smoothly. The bridesmaid, she’s got her own agenda – it’s a bit of a race against time, really. The film’s pacing is lively, with sharp dialogue and moments of genuine warmth. Visually, it has this charmingly low-budget feel, almost like a stage play at times which adds to its unique atmosphere. The performances have a delightful earnestness, and there’s this underlying theme of community and support that keeps it grounded despite the chaos.
