Dokonjo Taisho

The film follows Ryosuke Kotaki as he pursues victory in shogi, guided by his grandfather's motto. His journey takes him to Osaka, where he encounters Okichi and becomes involved with her family's shogi establishment. Ryosuke's talent in gambling shogi brings him early success, but he faces a significant challenge when he loses to the formidable Heihachi Kudo, known as a top player in the Kansai chess world.
