Dr. Dilara

The film follows Dr. Dilara Bessano, a Turkish Cypriot who moves back to Cyprus after her husband's tragic suicide. Once settled, she begins a new chapter as an instructor at the Faculty of Communication while working on a documentary about Mass Graves in Cyprus, a project she had started with her husband.

As she navigates her new reality with her four-year-old daughter, Asia, the film delves into themes of loss, resilience, and the complexities of life in the wake of personal tragedy. With a focus on personal and societal issues, Dr. Dilara offers a poignant look at the struggles faced by its characters.
