Dreaming Awake

In "Dreaming Awake," Kimuro Hajime, the recently appointed dean of a film school, becomes entwined in the life of his student Daisuke. Daisuke is fixated on the Second World War and grapples with the senseless loss of young lives during that era. His frustrations lead him to confide in Kimuro, who carries his own burdens from the war.
