Duresori: The Voice of East

The story centers on Seul-Gi and Ah-Reum, both third-year students at their prestigious school. Seul-Gi specializes in pansori, a traditional Korean music genre, while Ah-Reum focuses on Gyeonggi Folk Music. As summer break approaches, they face personal struggles that lead them to a special summer class.

Amidst this backdrop, their school receives news of an upcoming chorus contest, prompting the selection of Teacher Ham, a composer with a background in western music, to lead the chorus team. This decision sparks conflict as the teacher's approach clashes with the students' traditional training. The film navigates their journey as they prepare for the contest while dealing with their own anxieties and the challenges of collaboration across differing musical styles.
