Dusk Stone is a heavy piece, really gets into the thick of human sorrow. Greta and Bruno's grief feels palpable, you can almost touch it. The pacing is deliberate, allowing moments of silence to hang in the air, which accentuates their anguish. Sina, their friend, brings a different energy, trying to inject some life into the ruins of their summer house and their spirits. The cinematography captures the coastal atmosphere beautifully, with practical effects that enhance the emotional weight rather than detract from it. The performances are raw; you can see the pain in their eyes. It's not your typical drama, more of a meditation on loss and the struggle to move forward. Quite distinct in its approach, really.
