Dybuk

Set in a Polish-Jewish village, "Dybuk" follows the story of Chanan, a student deeply interested in Kabbalah. His love for Leah, the rabbi’s daughter, is forbidden, leading to tragic consequences. Upon his death, he returns as a dybbuk, a possessing spirit, during Leah's wedding. The narrative unfolds as the revered Rabbi Azriel conducts a mystical trial to confront the vow that binds their souls and ultimately exorcises the dybbuk, freeing both Leah and Chanan’s restless spirit.
