Earth Tremors

The film follows Ju Yeong-nbok, who serves as a Russian translator for the North Korean army amid the Korean War. As the political situation worsens, his sister's escape to the South raises concerns for his standing in the communist party. Yeong-bok faces personal turmoil as he ends his relationship with his girlfriend, a Catholic, to demonstrate his allegiance to the party.
