Set in a strange place where residents are trapped in their apartments, Edifice 129 delves into the impact of distant memories and the pressing need to maintain silence. The narrative unfolds as the long-isolated inhabitants creep forward in their daily lives, reflecting on their confinement and the world around them.

The film was created during the COVID-19 lockdowns as part of the Creatives Across Borders initiative, which encouraged filmmakers to connect and collaborate despite physical distances. Through regular Zoom meetings, four writer/directors and a digital 3D artist produced short films that can be enjoyed individually or as part of a cohesive narrative.

With its unique production background and multi-national collaboration, Edifice 129 presents an intriguing take on modern storytelling. The film features a diverse cast, including Paul Portelli, Erica Muscat, Jürgen Heimüller, Alison Rose, and William Cohn, adding depth to the exploration of its themes.
