Einer vom Rummel

The story follows 19-year-old Benjamin, known as Ben, who works as a cashier at a fairground. His self-confidence attracts attention from girls, but an argument with his uncle drives him to leave his familiar life behind.

In Berlin, Ben meets Hanna, a cookmaid who offers him shelter in her flat. As he starts working as a welder in a factory, he faces the skepticism of his new co-workers and must prove himself in this unfamiliar environment. This film captures themes of youth, independence, and the struggle for acceptance in a changing world.
