Elang

The film follows Elang, a football player for the Indonesia Football National Team, who is faced with a dire situation when his mother suffers from Alzheimer's. In order to cover her medical expenses, he makes the difficult decision to leave the national team and join the Sidney Warriors Football Club for financial reasons. This choice, however, causes disappointment for his mother and his sister, Laras.

As Elang returns to Indonesia, he encounters threats from Hardiman, who takes his mother hostage and coerces his team to lose. The film raises the question of whether Elang will prioritize the honor of his nation or the life of his mother. With a runtime of 97 minutes, Elang offers a gripping narrative that intertwines the worlds of football and personal sacrifice.
