Empty Nets

The film follows Amir, a young Iranian man who takes a job with a fisherman on the Caspian Sea coast. His goal is to earn enough money to marry his sweetheart, Narges. However, as he becomes involved in the criminal activities surrounding caviar poaching, he finds himself trapped in a dangerous hierarchy that threatens both his livelihood and his relationship.

Empty Nets presents a stark portrayal of the challenges faced in a society marked by desperation and illicit trade.
