This film centers on Chris, a young filmmaker from Kerala, who is inspired by Louis Malle’s documentary Calcutta. Moving to Kolkata with his wife, Anita, a movie actress, Chris aims to create a modern version of the documentary. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic hits India, he faces challenges that threaten his project, including financial difficulties and lockdown restrictions.

While confined to their apartment, Chris channels his frustrations into a new film about his marriage, unbeknownst to Anita. This narrative intertwines the themes of artistic ambition and personal struggle, making it particularly resonant amid the backdrop of the pandemic.
