Exodus 1826

The story follows Captain Michos Floros as he returns to Samarina to recruit men for a mission to Messolonghi. Alongside his friend Elias Manakas and a group of 25 men, they embark on a perilous journey through the mountains to join General Makris's forces. The film depicts the challenges faced by these men on March 31, 1826, against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict.

In parallel, the women of the village seek answers from Eleni Florou about the men's sudden departure. The narrative also introduces the looming threat from Ibrahim Pasha and the Turkish commander Nihat Servan, who are preparing for a final assault on Messolonghi. This intertwining of personal and military struggles adds depth to the historical context of the film.
