There’s that creepy atmosphere as he stalks a Marilyn Monroe lookalike, and the practical effects in some of the kill scenes are surprisingly effective for the time. Performances range from earnest to downright bizarre, giving it a unique flavor that stands out in the late '70s and early '80s horror-comedy landscape.
