Fading Light

The film follows twelve-year-old Christos Myrisiotis, who lives with his mother Eleni on a remote island. Christos is gifted with remarkable musical talent but is also facing the reality of losing his sight due to a rare disease. His journey unfolds as he navigates friendship, mentorship, and the complexities of his emotions.

Christos finds solace in nature and the sounds around him, which he transforms into music for his violin. His relationships with his classmate Angeliki and the old lighthouse keeper Soursoumis provide him with guidance and support. The arrival of a new schoolteacher, Maria, brings a turning point in his life when she encourages him to participate in a music contest. Throughout the film, viewers witness Christos' growth as he confronts his challenges and matures as an artist.
