Fall in Love

The film follows Ling Xuefeng, who returns to Tibet a decade after experiencing a first love with a girl named Gesang Meiduo. As a volunteer doctor, he encounters another girl with the same name on a train, who becomes his assistant and translator. Their journey together not only leads him to search for the girl from his past but also allows them to confront cultural differences and societal expectations.

As Ling and his new companion navigate their way through personal doubts and the beauty of Tibet, they gradually rediscover the innocence of first love. The film emphasizes the connection between the Han Chinese man and the Tibetan woman, symbolized by the blossoming Gesang flower, and offers a heartfelt take on romance across cultural boundaries.
