Falsifier

The film follows Andjelko, a middle school principal in a small Bosnian town. He is a staunch believer in the ideals of Yugoslavia and its leader, Josip Broz Tito. However, Andjelko has a hidden talent for forgery, creating fake school diplomas not for personal gain, but out of a desire to help others. His actions lead to unexpected consequences when a neighbor's revenge forces him to flee to the city.

Falsifier features a strong cast, including Tihomir Stanić, Branka Katić, and Sergej Trifunović. The narrative intertwines dark comedy with dramatic elements, reflecting on the collapse of old ideals during a turbulent era.
