Far Away Close To You

The film follows seventeen-year-old Sota, who moves from vibrant Phnom Penh to a quiet rural town to complete her high school education. Struggling to adjust, she feels isolated until she meets Viphu, a compassionate boy driven by a desire to uplift his community. Their connection grows as they navigate the challenges of friendship and budding romance.

As graduation approaches, the pressures of ambition and circumstances begin to create distance between Sota and Viphu. Misunderstandings arise, leading to silence and emotional divergence in their relationship.
