Far Away from Here

The narrative follows two drivers, played by Filipe Cochofel and Antonio Pedro Figueiredo, who embark on a joyride that takes a turn when their car breaks down. As the sun rises, they attempt to fix the vehicle, leading to a meeting with a retired mechanic, portrayed by Canto e Castro, who has a heart condition and a past filled with memories.

The film unfolds as the mechanic convinces Figueiredo to take him on a motorbike trip to find an old friend. The story takes on themes of companionship and the passage of time, particularly when the mechanic’s niece, played by Maysa Marta, pursues them. The journey ultimately leads to poignant moments, including the mechanic's peaceful passing on the road.
