Fictitious Marriage

The film centers on Eldad, who decides to stay in Tel Aviv instead of returning to Jerusalem. He disguises himself and rents a cheap hotel room, where he meets Judy, the receptionist. To help her secure a working visa for America, Eldad convinces her that they will marry.

In a twist, Eldad adopts another disguise and is mistaken for a deaf-mute Arab. This leads him to join a group of deaf-mutes at an Israeli construction site and back in their village.
