Firingoti

Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-India war, Firingoti tells the story of Ritu, a widowed teacher who moves to the small Assamese village of Koronga. The village school, which was destroyed by fire a decade earlier, presents a significant challenge for Ritu. Determined to make a difference, she embarks on a mission to rebuild the school and rally the support of the local villagers.
