So, 'First Family' is this interesting comedy that plays with the absurdity of political life, I think. The story kicks off when the First Daughter gets kidnapped by a tribe, and then you watch as the President scrambles to save her, which sets this odd tone of urgency mixed with humor. There's a nice blend of slapstick and satirical moments that feel very much of its time. The pacing has some lulls, but it picks up again when the absurd situations arise. The performances, while not groundbreaking, have a charm that keeps it engaging. It’s distinctive for how it mixes politics with a light-hearted narrative, which you don’t see in many comedies from that era.
