Fishing Luck

Fishing Luck presents a narrative set on Lanyu, also known as Orchid Island, where the local aboriginals rely on the flying fish for their livelihood. The story follows three young men, Behong, Jeddah, and Qingkuang, who are referred to as the "Three Musketeers" due to their deep bond and camaraderie.

The arrival of Zing, a young woman from Taipei, marks a turning point in their lives. She comes to the island on a business trip related to cellular coverage, but her presence brings unforeseen changes to the dynamics of the group and their tranquil lifestyle. This film captures the essence of friendship against the backdrop of a small island community, making it a unique exploration of personal and cultural transformation.
