Charlotte, an alienated sound engineer, returns to her mother’s country home after her mother is murdered. Frustrated by the police investigation, she takes matters into her own hands. As she listens to a recent sound recording from her mother’s house, Charlotte discovers that she can hear sounds from the past through her headphones.

Utilizing her unique ability to piece together the events leading up to her mother’s death, Charlotte gets closer to identifying the killer.
