Flight 93 is a gritty, intense portrayal of the turmoil aboard United Airlines Flight 93 during 9/11. Directed by Peter Markle, the film has this raw, almost documentary-like feel, with actors delivering performances that pull you right into the chaos. The pacing really ramps up as the passengers realize their fate, and it does a nice job exploring themes of heroism and desperation without feeling overly dramatic. The practical effects are straightforward, but they serve the tension well. It's distinct from other dramatizations of 9/11, mainly because it focuses on the passengers' experiences and choices rather than the bigger picture. Definitely a heavier watch, but it’s compelling in a way that sticks with you.
