Flower Buds

Flower Buds tells the story of a family's gradual breakdown, set against the backdrop of a small town. Each character pursues their own ideals, leading to various forms of conflict and despair. Agata dreams of a happier life, willing to betray those close to her for a chance at escape. Honza clings to the belief in love's power despite challenging circumstances, while Kamila remains optimistic about the future, rejecting the misery of their current lives.

Jarda, however, embodies the struggles of addiction, particularly to gambling, which complicates his relationships and future. His realization of his inability to change his situation culminates in a desperate, yet futile, attempt to rescue his family when it's already too late. The film paints a stark picture of personal failures and the search for redemption within the confines of familial bonds.
