This documentary sheds light on the fateful days in September 1974, when approximately 1,500 men from Malisbong and surrounding villages in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat lost their lives. Alongside this, about 3,000 women and children were forcibly taken to naval boats, facing unimaginable horrors.

For four decades, the survivors of this massacre remained silent, carrying their traumatic experiences. Forbidden Memory gives them a platform to share their stories, allowing viewers to confront the painful truths of this historical event.
