Frau Luna

The film follows Fritz Steppke and his friends, Lämmermeier and Pannecke, as they embark on an adventurous trip to the moon in a steerable balloon. They are joined by Mrs. Pusebach, who believes that flying to the moon is less risky than losing her companion, Pannecke. Upon their arrival, they encounter Theophil, the ruler of Frau Luna's realm, who initially greets them unfriendly.

As the plot unfolds, Theophil recognizes Mrs. Pusebach, which changes the dynamic of their interaction. The beautiful ruler of the moon, Frau Luna, finds herself tired of her lover, Prince Sternschnuppe, and becomes infatuated with Steppke. However, Steppke's heart remains with his bride, Mariechen, whom he has left behind in Berlin. The story leads them all to consider a trip back to Earth, adding layers to their lunar adventure.
