Freejack is an interesting blend of action, crime, and drama with a hefty dose of sci-fi. It's one of those flicks that feels like a product of its time, what with the late '80s and early '90s vibe permeating every scene. Emilio Estevez gives a decent performance as the race-car driver who finds himself in a bizarre future, and it's pretty cool to see Mick Jagger as the slick villain. The practical effects and the gritty New York setting bring a unique atmosphere, even if the pacing can be a bit uneven at times. The whole concept of mind-swapping and existential themes adds a layer of intrigue, though it's not without its cheesy moments. Still, for collectors, it’s a curious piece of sci-fi history, with a cult following that appreciates its quirks.
