From Sadness To Joy

The story follows the Trifonov family, who live in a small town. Parents Vladimir and Nadezhda notice a change in their son Pashka after he returns from a trip to Moscow with factory workers. He becomes withdrawn and secretive, leading them to discover that he is dating a woman fifteen years his senior, who also has three children.

As Pashka's parents fight to break up the relationship, they soon realize their efforts may have caused more harm than good. The film delves into themes of love, misunderstanding, and the consequences of parental interference.
