Fruit & Nut

The film follows Jolly Maker, an eccentric municipal employee who is deeply in debt and infatuated with Monica Gokhale, a member of the Mumbai Heritage Society. His life takes an unexpected turn when he inadvertently rescues her after her mysterious abduction through a toilet flush, making him an overnight hero.

However, the plot thickens when Jolly, Monica, and her father, Madhav, find themselves caught in a twisted game of survival, complicating their relationships and adding layers to Jolly's character. With a mix of humor and romance, the film showcases the absurdities of urban life and the trials of love amidst chaos. Featuring a cast that includes Boman Irani, Cyrus Broacha, and Dia Mirza, Fruit & Nut promises a blend of comedy and romance set against the backdrop of Mumbai.
