Genbanojō

In the cone-shaped land of Kikyōgahara in Shin Province, Genbanojō follows a girl named Hana, who is deeply connected to her family, especially her great-grandmother Chiyo. When a traveling troupe arrives in her village, a series of magical events unfold after the troupe's leader transforms into a fox upon seeing Hana's favorite food, oyaki.

The film explores themes of family bonds and the desire to fulfill wishes, as Hana's wish to let her Granny see the cherry blossoms becomes a focal point. The film features a blend of whimsical storytelling and heartfelt moments, characteristic of the anime genre.
