The story follows Chi-guk and Kan-to as they prepare for the bar exam, dreaming of becoming a prosecutor and a judge. After failing their first attempt, they seek comfort from their senior Pak, who has faced similar setbacks. Together, they venture into the world of romance while attempting to regain their focus on their studies.

As Chi-guk pursues the college student Keum-rye, Kan-to grapples with personal issues including his ill father and younger sister, Young-ja.
